Beginning PAINTING

Class will begin with an introduction to materials
(Supports, Gesso, Paints, Brushes,
Palettes, and Mediums),
We will learn about , Painting Styles,
Underpainting, Planning, Lighting,
Setting Up Still Life, Photo Preps,
Color Mixing, BrushTechniques,
Basic Tinting and Shading.
There will be guided time to work on project pieces.
Project pieces will be created from
live references, still life, and photos.
